N Per X And Grid Segmentation CampaignsN per X takes N number of records from every distinct value of X, where X is a column in the database that can be used to group a number of records together. Examples of columns that can be used in this way are a household id on a customer table, or an email address on a customer table where more than one customer might share that value. One per [demo].[customer].[household id] would take one person from each house regardless of how many people are living there. Functionality also exists to allow users to select which recipient is selected based on their value in another database column. For example the person with the highest age or income. Care should be taken not to select a column containing unique values, for example household id on the household table, as this will produce unexpected results. N per X is applied to the gross column of your rows to produce the net figure before any sampling has been applied. N per X can be used in the following ways:
